There are none. Yankee Stadium is in the Bronx, and there are no hotels there for nice tourists from out of town. Your best bet is to stay in Manhattan, and take the subway to Yankee Stadium. Very safe, lots of cops there on game day. Any of the bid travel sites will help you find a hotel, but I suggest sticking to the chains, Marriott, Best Western, etc. There are apartment owners who have been known to adverstise vacant apartments as “hotel rooms”.

I agree with another poster, not only is Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, its in one of the worst parts of the Bronx. Out of town tourists shouldnt stay anywhere near there. On game days, its flooded with people and cops, so its safe to get to a game. You’re best bet is to use, Orbitz, hotwire, or travelocity. Stick with chain hotels, they should be cheaper, around 200 a night. But that way you also know you wont get stuck with a room just big enough for a single bed and a shared bathroom.

you could stay in jersey. either ft lee or in weehawken. if you stay in weehawken get a place near the ferry and take the ferry to the game.
