Visit at Fort Sam Houston?

My fiance is at Fort Sam Houston for his AIT. I ended up going for a visit last weekend, and he said something about me visiting for Thanksgiving. Before I buy my plane tickets, I had a few questions. Can he stay the night with me, or does he have to report back at 9:30 like he did when I visited him. Does anyone know of any hotels close to base? I’m 20, so I’m not yet old enough to rent a car (ridiculous, I know). I know I was able to drive on post with my drivers license and a pass to get on base, but this time I’m flying, not driving, can I just walk onto post and meet him if the hotel is close enough?

that’s where you’ll find hotels. If they are like the Navy if he’s on Holiday stand day he should be able to or if it’s a weekend. Ask him he should know
