Pay for two and a day.

Hotels that rent by the hour are for prostitutes to service their drunk customers. You wouldn’t want to sleep on those sheets. Lots of DNA in there.
All other hotels around the world rent by the day. A 24 hour day. They may also rent to hookers and reprobates but at least they have time to change the sheets. Whether they actually DO change the sheets is another story.

Hotels always charge you for the whole day (check in is 2pm or 12noon and check out is 12noon next day) Shangri-La EDSA, the closest hotel to SM Megamall will certainly charge you for a day.

Hotels don’t charge you on an hourly basis as they charge per night. Normally, the check-in time in hotels is 2PM and the checkout time is 12noon.
It is only motels (which have a negative connotation here in the Philippines) who charge its guests per hour.
As for hotels near SM Megamall, aside from EDSA Shangril-la which is very expensive, you may consider Crowne Plaza. You may check the link below for details:
As for your inquiry with regard to having a guest, hotels allow guests in the room only until 10PM - 12MN. Beyond that time, the guest has to leave the hotel as only checked-in guests are allowed to stay overnight.
