Do you know about Vegas hotel rates?
Hotel RatesDuke asked:
I was wondering if getting a room late at night would be cheaper than booking beforehand. Say around 10pm, on a weekend and staying that night.

Makes no difference.. You may even end up paying more if you don’t book with discount codes.

I agree with Maxx P. It makes no difference and you are taking a chance there won’t be any rooms. Here are some Vegas hotel discount promo codes.

Sometimes they advertise on their outside billboards that rooms are going for a special rate that night. Only if they advertise it will you get it and you have to mention the ad when checking in otherwise you will be charge the going rate …. still taking your chance of not having a room for that night. They do this in hopes of getting people who are staying at another hotel at the other end or off the strip to just check in and not have to worry about getting back to their hotel for that night. To kind of try them out for next time they visit.

The price won’t make a difference as long as you check in on that day. You can see a list of hotels and their starting prices here. Good luck.

Nope you will pay at least the same on the day usually more, the way to get the best rate is to book as far as possible in advance directly with the hotel. As long as you have not booked a non-refundable rate if the rate drops you can call the hotel any tiome up to 48 hours prior to checking in and they will adjust your rate to match. What you can do at checkin is try for a free upgrade

I think the same regarding the discount codes. To book in advance with discount codes is the best way to be on the safe site. Check for current hotel promotion codes.

depends where you’re planning on staying. some of the larger hotels offer speical internet rates if you book online. or you can try the travel sites like expedia or travelocity. however, if you want to stay somewhere cheap like budget in or motel 6, i think you could still check in and have a good deal that same night. I would suggest the motel 6 on tropicana. it is near the MCCARAN airport, as well as a block away from the strip (near MGM).

Only if the hotel has a LOT of empties. Strip resort prices raise exponentially on Friday and Saturday nights because so many people come into town those nights. Sunday to Thursday are the cheapest nights - and you’ll stand a better chance of getting the room prorated for you those nights.
