can anyone recomend the closest motel/hotel from disneyland with low rates?

Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel
Tropicana Inn & Suites
Park Vue Inn
Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites
Anaheim Del Sol
(those are all close and reasonbly cheap for their location; and much cheaper than actually staying at Disneyland.)

Try .. it ask’s you how much you’re willing to spend and how many stars you want. You can ‘bid’ on the Hotel and it gives you the best rates of the Hotels closest to your vacation spot.

The Red Roof Inn is pretty close. Pretty clean.
Try priceline.com and find your price.

It will be hard to find but you can shuttle from anywhere, Disney Pop Century is Reasonable and your kids will love it!

Go to the Disney website and look at their packages.
They have some really great deals where you can stay in the Disney Hotel.
It’s not as expensive as it seems. They offer specials and discounts on park admission too.

Tropicana Inn and Suites is great; it’s right across from the entrance and the rates are some of the lowest in the immediate area.

The howard johnson is right across the street and is great! They have a kids water park and pay an extra 10 bucks a night for a top floor facing disneyland to watch the fireworks from the balcony. We just stayed there a couple weeks ago and it was like 130 for one of there best rooms. My kids 2 and 4 had a blast. Have fun!
