It’s the peak season and Baguio is not cheap specially if you want a hotel with a mountain view.
However, if you travel by bus to Baguio, there are people offering transient rooms right at the terminal. You can always check it before booking so I recommend for you to take the evening bus ride.
So, forgo the room with a mountain view. Go to this site and call the hotel for availability and reservations.
Otherwise, try the transient homes offered. Weekend rates are also higher than weekday rates. Last Wednesday, the agents were offering rooms for Php500.
You will get what you pay for.

yeah, try MICROTEL in Upper Session Road..We stayed there during our out-of-town trip with my officemates. It is near SM Baguio, Burnham Park, Baguio Market. You can ride on FX taxis there.
“It’s the same great hotel everywhere you go with Microtel’s consistency in cleanliness, comfort, safety and value. Of course, Microtel Baguio’s service is further enhanced by the Filipinos’ warm sense of hospitality.
Another value-added feature of this 60-room hotel is its highly convenient location – right at the heart of the city and beside the modern Victory Liner Passenger Center. Victory Liner services various bus routes in Northern Philippines. A bridgeway connects the hotel to the bus terminal, thus ensuring greater accessibility for guests.”
