my family and i are planning our annual family trip. this year we are taking my daughter and some other kids to disney world orlando for her 6th birthday. we travel often and plan on driving from houston because some of us dont fly. we are also visiting family in various cities through the state.we havent been to disney since i was a child so this is a big trip for us. does anyone who has recently made the trip have any tips on visiting disney, hotels, dining, etc. we are pros at road tripping but any tips on recent changes or developments would be appreciated. thanks

you need make hotel reservations at disney asap for this summer. disney has the value resorts (All-star music, all-star sports….etc) which are the cheapest and they have suites for families. they are the cheapest properties to stay on…plus they have busses to the parks so you dont have to drive to them which in the summer is nice because they are so crowded. the value resorts also have a caferteria style eating area in them which is cost efficient.
if you dont want to go to all the disney parks just go to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. the kids will enjoy these parks the most.

Absolutes for 6 year olds:
Nemo at Living Seas at Epcot
Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom
Muppetvision 3-D at Hollywood Studios
Of course you’ll do most of the stuff at the Magic Kingdom
