My wife and I frequently travel to TX to visit my family. They live in the Houston area. Next time we go there, I’m going to travel to Dallas and do one huge JFK assassination pilgrimage. Going to TX has become something I really enjoy.
Here are my five, from bottom to top:

5. Texas state Capitol - Austin
4. San Jacinto Monument/Battleship TX - LaPorte
3. Galveston Beach - Galveston County
2. The Alamo - San Antonio (hint - go late at night when the most of the tourist traps are closed - the lights on the shrine reflect the bullet holes. You can really feel that an intense battle took place)
1. Fredericksburg - Very interesting WWII museum, birth place of Admiral Chester Nimitz, lots of good German restaurants and beautiful antique shops. Small quaint town (another hint - if you stay in Fredericksburg, stay at the Best Western. It’s a few blocks off the main drag, but a wonderful hotel. It’s the best one my wife and I have stayed in of all BW’s). What say you all

My fiance is at Fort Sam Houston for his AIT. I ended up going for a visit last weekend, and he said something about me visiting for Thanksgiving. Before I buy my plane tickets, I had a few questions. Can he stay the night with me, or does he have to report back at 9:30 like he did when I visited him. Does anyone know of any hotels close to base? I’m 20, so I’m not yet old enough to rent a car (ridiculous, I know). I know I was able to drive on post with my drivers license and a pass to get on base, but this time I’m flying, not driving, can I just walk onto post and meet him if the hotel is close enough?

My ex-wife works at a hotel and talked to a woman who was a pyschiatrist visiting from VA and her and my ex were talking & the Dr. told her I should travel to HOU and see a good Psychiatrist because it sounds like I am mentally disabled and can’t work. I have terrible mood swings and they suspect I am on the wrong meds, (Zoloft, Xanax). Here in the city i live in in Lafayette,LA, it’s mostly junkies trying to rehab off of oxycontin at all the mental health facilities here. What is wrong with me. I am not lazy. I would work hard. It’s just that I don’t work well under pressure and always feel like I am all alone and there is no help and I get real mad and feel violent like the HULK and when people screw with me at work I dream of blowing up the buildings and other evil acts. But I never have. I’m a nice guy to everyone at first but then they screw me over. And I keep hostilites for many years.

im in houston alone ive been living here with my girlfriend of over a year we moved here from florida we no no one she told me she fell out of love with me and wated to go home this was last night so i kissed her goodbye and asked her if this is what she reall ywants she said yes i washed my hands of her 2 hours went by she called last night said hotels was to much $ and she asked if she could stay here for the night i agreed you know i could of told her no you said you dont love me no more your not my problem but i dident i to9ld her she could stay she did (we have 2 dogs 2 akitas there my life i told her she could have one but like i said i woke up both of my dogs are gone and im iin this lonely house every corner reminds me of her she took advantage of my good nature! im so hurt and lost any advice!
